Terms of Service

What AION Is
AION Analytics analyzes historical market behaviour and computes statistical probabilities. AION systems function as a mirror of the market's past — they identify patterns, score probabilities, and surface structured context derived from historical data and mathematical models.
Every AION output is analytical context. It describes what the market's history suggests, not what the market will do. The difference between a probability statement and a prediction is not semantic — it is the core design principle of every AION model.
What AION Is Not
- AION does not give investment advice. No AION output constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, derivative, commodity, or financial instrument.
- AION is not a SEBI-registered Research Analyst (RA) or Investment Adviser (IA). AION outputs are not research reports as defined under the SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014.
- No AION output is a trade instruction. Nothing generated by Veritas, Edge Engine, Sentinel, Indian Market Intelligence, or any other AION system tells you to enter, exit, or size a position.
- AION is not liable for trading losses arising from any interpretation of AION outputs. Market conditions can change faster than any model can be updated.
Educational and Research Use
AION services are designed for educational, research, and analytical use. Users who access AION outputs — whether through the website, API, reports, or open-source packages — do so as informed analysts reviewing probabilistic context, not as recipients of financial advice.
By accessing AION services, you represent that you understand the distinction between probabilistic market analysis and investment advice, and that you are capable of independently evaluating whether any information is relevant to your situation.
API and Subscription Terms
- API keys are model-scoped. A key issued for one AION model does not provide access to other models.
- Subscription features are as described on the relevant subscription page at the time of purchase.
- AION reserves the right to update model outputs, retire model versions, or modify service features with reasonable notice.
- Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund Policy · I am a… Developer · Institution · Citizen.
User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for your own investment decisions. AION does not have visibility into your financial situation, risk tolerance, tax obligations, or regulatory constraints.
- You must not represent AION outputs as investment advice, regulatory determinations, or guaranteed forecasts to any third party.
- You must not use AION services in violation of applicable law, including SEBI regulations, FEMA, and Indian securities law.
- Account credentials and API keys must not be shared. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Acceptable Use Policy
This section applies to every way AION services are accessed: the website, a dashboard view, an API key, a mobile application, or any other automated client. It exists because a subscription buys the service described on that model's page — not the underlying dataset behind it.
You must not, and must not help or permit a third party to:
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract. Systematically query, paginate through, or script repeated requests against any AION output, page, or API beyond ordinary interactive use, with the intent or effect of reconstructing a dataset, archive, or history that your subscription tier does not entitle you to.
- Circumvent a rate limit, quota, or access cap. This includes querying faster than a human would, distributing requests across multiple IP addresses, devices, sessions, or accounts to multiply an individual limit, or using automation to stay just under a threshold.
- Share, sell, sublicense, or pool credentials. An account, API key, or login is issued to one subscriber for that subscriber's own use. Using one subscription to serve, redistribute, or resell access to other people or organizations is a breach of these terms, independent of whether the Educational and Research Use section above is also satisfied.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract methodology. You must not attempt to infer, derive, decompile, or reconstruct the model weights, rule sets, thresholds, feature definitions, training data, or any other proprietary method behind an AION model from its outputs, timing, or any other observable behaviour.
- Probe, test, or interfere with the service. You must not attempt to bypass authentication or access controls, send malformed or adversarial input intended to extract unentitled data or disrupt the service, or otherwise test the security of AION systems without AION's prior written authorization.
- Redistribute paid output in bulk. Sharing an individual output you are entitled to (for example, discussing one day's Veritas band, or one company's Sentinel score) is not a breach by itself. Systematically republishing, mirroring, or redistributing AION's paid outputs as a competing feed or dataset is.
AION measures use through ordinary technical means — request patterns, device and session identifiers, and per-account volume over time — for this purpose alone, not to profile you otherwise. Information about how a specific limit or detection works is not published, because publishing it would only help someone route around it.
Several of the acts above are independently addressed by Indian law, not only by this contract. Accessing or securing access to a computer resource, or any data within it, without authorisation or in excess of granted authorisation — which includes bypassing an access control, a rate limit, or a device/account binding — is addressed under Section 43 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and may separately amount to an offence under Section 66 where done dishonestly or fraudulently. This section does not depend on that characterisation to operate as a term of this contract; it states it because a violation here is not only a contract breach.
Enforcement
- If AION identifies, or reasonably suspects, a violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, AION may, at its discretion and without prior notice, throttle, suspend, or permanently terminate the account or API key involved, and may refuse to issue a new one to the same person, organization, or payment instrument.
- A suspension or termination for a violation of this policy is a termination for cause. No refund is owed for the unused portion of a subscription terminated on that basis, and the Refund Policy otherwise linked above does not apply to it.
- You agree to indemnify and hold AION Analytics harmless from any claim, loss, or liability arising from your violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, including a third party's use of AION outputs you redistributed in breach of it. This indemnity is given under, and enforceable per, Sections 124 and 125 of the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
- This policy does not limit any other right or remedy available to AION, including the Limitation of Liability below and any right or remedy available under Indian law, including under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Indian Penal Code / Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, to the extent applicable.
Limitation of Liability
AION Analytics and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use AION services, including but not limited to trading losses, missed opportunities, or decisions made based on AION outputs.
AION services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
Governing Law
These terms, including the Acceptable Use Policy above, are governed by the laws of India, including the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. Any dispute arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
Your acceptance of these terms by checking the acknowledgment box at checkout is an electronic record of assent given under, and valid and enforceable per, Section 10A of the Information Technology Act, 2000, which provides that a contract is not unenforceable solely because it was concluded electronically. AION records the version of these terms you accepted, the time, and the IP address and device time zone your browser reported at that moment, as the evidentiary record of that acceptance; how that record is collected, used and retained is described in the Privacy Policy, consistent with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
