What Sentinel missed, what we can verify, and what still needs work.
Read the Gensol and Rajesh Exports cases
Gensol: no verified advance warning
Our retained score evidence is from after SEBI's April 2025 interim order. It does not support a claim that Sentinel warned investors before that order. A filing screen also cannot establish how borrowed funds were actually used.
Response: regulatory-event evidence is now a separate review input. It can add context once an event is available. It is not proof of advance detection of operational misconduct.
SEBI's interim order, 15 April 2025. Interim findings are not a final determination.
Rajesh Exports: subsidiary reporting blind spot
We do not claim a verified warning before SEBI's June 2026 interim order. Consolidated accounts can hide differences between a parent and the companies beneath it. Our retained subsidiary data does not yet support complete reconciliation against independently reported subsidiary accounts.
Response: an additional comparison of parent standalone and consolidated revenue is now active and can escalate a company to CRITICAL. Rajesh Exports is CRITICAL in the current output and in a retrospective replay using FY2025 accounts. This does not establish an advance warning. Direct reconciliation against independently reported subsidiary accounts remains incomplete.
SEBI's interim order, 3 June 2026. The company disputed the findings on 4 June 2026; these are not final conclusions.
Reviewed 3 November 2026. A later score or a retrospective test is not an advance warning. Missing evidence is an open issue, not a clean result.
